ABOUT THE COMPANY
As they continue to grow and expand into new areas, Universal Engineering are currently seeking a switched-on Labourer to join the team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is based in Carrington and will initially be offered on a casual basis, with the possibility of moving to full time for the right candidate.
This position offers the right candidate to work with and learn from a team of experienced trades in Fabrication, Welding and Sheet Metal. The role provides great variety, with the opportunity to work on projects such as shipping container conversions, modular buildings, and commercial mobile kitchens.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a solid work history, with experience ideally in these areas. In addition, the ideal candidate will have:
Current Driver’s License;
Forklift licence (preferred);
A strong attitude towards quality and safety;
Strong communication skills;
A commitment to team work; and
The ability to work with minimal supervision and show initiative.
This is a great opportunity to step into an environment where you will be supported to learn new skills and provide a valuable contribution to our busy workshop.
